2009 Lafayette Park Summer Concert Series

Saturday Nights - 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Warmer weather and the start of summer mean that the 2009 Lafayette Park Summer Concert Series is just around the corner.  Start the evening at one of the many restaurants in Lafayette Square such as 1111, Vin de Set or Sqwires or enjoy a picnic or box dinner under the stars.  Click on Lafayette Square restaurants for a list of neighborhood restaurants all within walking distance of Lafayette Park.

 

This year's line up of musicians features a number of nationally recognized artists as well as some of St. Louis' favorites covering all ranges of music from acoustical guitar to indie rock to jazz to blues and more.  Here is a list of artists scheduled to participate in this year's concert series:

• June 6 - Javier Mendoza - Singer/Songwriter Acoustical Guitar
• June 20 - Melissa Neels Band - Blues Band
• July 4 - Ralph Butler Band - A St. Louis Favorite
• July 18 - Two Times True with Christi John Bye - Contemporary Jazz
• August 1 - Anne Harris - Indie Rock
• August 15 - Power Play - Dance Band
• August 29 -  Wild, Cool, and Swinging Orchestra- Think 1960's LasVegas
