Life is wonderful when I can play and have fun doing what I love.  As a Home staging & Redesign consultant I have the privilege of working with home owners to bring a fresh new look into their home either for the purpose of selling or living.    I make suggestions to clients as to how they can make home improvements to that will enhance the look and value of their home and bring potential buyers over the Threshold of their home.  Giving your Kitchen CABINETS a Facelift is just one of the many things you can do to change the look of your kitchen and keeps more $$$$ in your new home.

To be in a learning environment just made my heart sing,  I was thrilled and excited about learning and working with Kathy Van Gogh as she is so talented, knowledgeable and fun to be around,  our days were filled with chit chat, fun and laughter and of course splashing in the Paint bucket....

This is an OLD OAK cabinet that has been refinished,  you still get a nice grain showing through the paint, i've called this an "Antique" finishe as with the finished glaze and a Benjamin Moore lambskin paint color underneath its really quite eye catching..

Have painted kitchen cabinets previously I decided to keep an open mind and learn so new techniques to be more creative in what I can offer my clients so off I went to the Van Gogh school of Art to enhance my skills which by the way can be applied to any other furniture piece in your home.

Kathy Van Gogh my personal instructor for my time in art clases,  As a good  compliant student (how life has changed from a teenager at school)  I came all prepared with my primer cabinet door fronts (4) in total to create four different looks.   When selling a home a few of the top home improvements you can do is Paint the interior of your home, New or remodeled kitchen & Bathroom.

This one is kinda unique and a custom design for a client that would be doing a Redesign for living rather than selling, its more time consuming and naturally more expensive,  the original cabinet to the right is a door from ikea which has been refaced with a nice paint combination stencilling, plaster and waxed.

This melamine board cabinet with an oak trim at the bottom was really turned out brillant, I even impressed myself at the outcome as these cabinets can be a bit of an eye sore however, not no more with this new "Bittersweet Chocolate" finish MMMMMMMMM chocolat....  I finished it off with a double glaze of black n purple with a splash of copper and really close up its amazing.. so don't dispair if your kitchen is needing some esthetics to create a new look thats affordable and personalized, no two cabinet doors will be exactly alike which makes it even more interesting.

Last but not least a new finish to an old maple kitchen door front.  This cabinet is finished with a light and charcoal great with a nice black grey glaze.

If you want to get rid of those old and mold tiles in the bathroom they too can be painted for a look that will last for several years if cared for much like anything else in life.
