Customer service is so very important to the Real Estate industry. Without it we ruin the chances for repeat customers and referrals. But when I think of one industry that is infamous for having HORRIBLE customer service it would be the

Airline Industry!!

This past weekend I had to fly into Kansas City for a wedding I was in. The weather was TERRIBLE in KC and we were diverted to Oklahoma City for about 2 hours. Although we were let off the plane for the 2 hours in Oklahoma we had to sit on the runway another hours in OK and again another hour back in KC.

Now I realized that this was the fault of the weather and not so much the airline so I let it pass without making a complaint.

So imagine my surprise when 4 days later I receive an email from my airline stating that they are giving me a free voucher to make up for my bad experience! I was so thrilled by this outstanding gesture I had to tell the world about it!

So who is the airline I so dearly love: Southwest Airlines!

Think about this. I was inconvenienced by the weather but I let it go, never made a complaint, never asked for anything... then out of the blue their upper management sends me a personalized email informing me that I will receive a voucher for my troubles. It just floored me.

So now whenever I can I WILL fly Southwest Airlines! I can see that this is a company that truly cares about their customers!

MORAL OF THE STORY: care about your customers. If something goes wrong make it right. If you do something wrong, say you are sorry. Even if a client never says anything to you, if something went bad and you make it right it will mean so much to them!

This is the true epitome of great customer service!
