Here is where your selling skills come in from the pasture. This is a golden opportunity to corral her into her very own stall :)
I will await the results ;-) Now go rope her in!!
What a great agent you are, Alan. Always thinking, always thinking:))
Jennifer... I don't consider myself a "salesmen" at all. There will be no "roping".
Thank you Joanna.. I try to keep the grey matter active
I am constantly amazed at how many people have pets before they own a property and expect them to be welcomed by landlords. To me it seems you should grow up, buy a house, and then get a pet. But that shows how old and old-fashioned I am.
FOR SURE, the world is MORE than a bit strange. Isn't this a great business, where we can occasionally actually make a difference for the better in someone's life!
What an awesome thing for her that she got in touch with you. You get to help her attain the American Dream. Good Luck!
Barbara - if you were truly "old fashioned" we wouldn't be finding you here on AR.... you techno-geek, you!
Janna - it is a great business.
Teresa - we'll see if that actually happens... but yes... awesome.
Alan, nothing strange about you making a buyer out of a renter! That is our job and obviously you do it very well!
I guess, Caren, the "strange" for me, was the fact that she had 10-days to move out and find a place to live. But thanks for the compliment.
Good stuff.....good stuff happens in every form and fashion and even in ways that we didn't / don't fathom. 'Good testimonial here.
thank you Sir Bettag. Good stuff does happen. All day, every day... we just have to work to "get in front of it".
Sometimes people just fall in your lap. I have seen people come in the office in search of a rental and end up buying because they see something they can afford. Best of luck to you Alan.
thanks JL... I'll let you know if anything comes of it.
I think Barbara needs to be more open minded. Peoples circumstances can change at the drop of a hat. If my husband died tomorrow I would have to sell my home and I have two dogs that I could never get rid of. They are my kids. Life throws you curve balls and you have to adapt and come out swinging!!
Good job converting her to a sale. In my book that is better for the client too as it allows them to start building wealthy instead of just paying rent. Good job!!
We all have to adapt to take care of our little charges, don't we Betina.
Barbara sounds almost cruel. There are many people who rent and have dogs, cats, or aquariums. I don't see how that indicates that they haven't grown up yet. The two are not related.
Yeah, Betina!
nah, Russel, Barbara is truly sweet. She's clearly coming at this from a slightly different perspective. Maybe she's been a landlord for a while. We all know how "reasonable" tenants can be.
