In contrast, one consumer emailed me from ActiveRain.  She did not identify her self or make any connection, but was looking for a "transaction".  She kept sending two three words emails with lots of question marks.  She made no attempt at creating any mutual benefit.  It was just about...what do you have and what can I get?  When I tried to find some commonality before I would go out of my way for her, she sent me the nastiest judgmental email I have ever seen on ActiveRain.

The kind and respectful woman got a home delivery of free plants.

The demanding, angry woman got nothing.

I am still receiving calls.  Everyone identifies himself or herself and explains their need in a friendly and polite way.  Though we donated the left over plants to the Sonoma Community, I call around and try to find the plants for the individuals who are contacting me.

Who ever said that you can get more in life with honey was so right!

Unfortunately, the angry blame others individuals are not getting it.  Maybe, this will help.

Simone, your story is right on target.  I sometimes wonder how rude people just do not see themselves as such.  Where that comes from, I'll never know.

Your plant sale sounds wonderful, and you are so kind to continue to assist people in helping find plants.  Did you invite your clients, and did any attend?  What a great event!

Thanks Kathryn, some people are just self centered, angry and unhappy.  I think that leads to rude and inconsiderate behavior.

I invited a few clients only, this time.  I will do better next year.  Actually, I publicized it in our local indoor pool and garden club members took fliers to specific locations they chose, or emailed to their sphere.
