That is a great tool. I have used scansoft for many years..... but free is great!
Jeff Check out issuu to do a lot of really cool stuff with pdfs. Its not a converter but its pretty neat.
Joan - I was very impreessed. I lok forward to using it often. Hopefully folks will share any problems they encounter.
Shane - good tip. I will check that out, too. I love that folks hear havde so many tech tips to share.

I've not seen a "reverse" converter from PDF to WORD, thanks for sharing. I image the PDF file must have intelligence as opposed to a scanned PDF file. The latter would require OCR.
Thanks for the tip and Its one I needed. I was actually considering buying the Adobe program to convert and edit.
