Permian Plaza LLC gets $2 million from The Midland Development Corporation

MIDLAND (Midland Development Corporation) - The Midland Development Corporation's board of directors has approved an economic development agreement for $2 million to Permian Plaza LLC for a new, state-of-the-art parking garage with approximately 440 vehicle spaces.

Permian Plaza is a wholly owned subsidiary of Basic Energy Services LP, which is consolidating and retaining its corporate headquarters in Midland. Basic has acquired the 300 N. Pecos, 600 W. Illinois and 511 W. Ohio buildings. The redevelopment of these properties as Permian Plaza will offer over 180,000 sf of office, restaurant and retail development for the central business district.

The economic development agreement will be on the city council agenda for consideration at a later date.
