If I suggested you use GoDaddy.com for your email, I'm sorry.

They SUCK.

There is nothing else I can say about it.

First, they blocked all YAHOO Groups.

Now they have blocked the largest ISP in Alaska.

They don't like fancy email signatures.

They don't like HTML in emails.

They don't like links in emails.

If you use your email for business, stay away from GoDaddy.

hmmm... I have a domain at GoDaddy but don't use it for email... I should probably transfer it to where my others are hosted.

Debbie - I concur. GoDaddy is great for domains but little else.

Jesse - I only used them for email because of the large box size limit.  That doesn't do any good when they block everyone!

Mike - Yup, that is the case.  I am so disappointed and wonder how much business I lost over it.

I have a couple of email addresses at GoDaddy.  However, I don't use their email client at all.  I have my Gmail account check the GoDaddy account for one, and the other forwards to the Gmail account.  Doing it this way, I've never known of anything getting blocked, and get all my email as far as I know.

Gmail gives me 7 GB of storage, so I have all email removed from GoDaddy's server as it's checked.  I have nothing but great things to say about Gmail.  I have a plugin that allows multiple html signatures, just picking the one I want in the email or reply.  I use canned responses for automated replies when applicable, or to answer the same question again without retyping.

Gmail is the email archiving system (more than 10,000 at last count) for my online weboffice CRM databases.  Using filters, I can have emails filed by gmail's "labels" and it's a snap to find them later.  This comes in handy with the archiving, as I have a link in my databases that pulls all emails to and from a contact.

Gmail allows rich text formatting and image insertion.  Using Zemanta, I can also insert images pulled from Zemanta based on the content of the email.  All that and a lot more from a totally free email solution makes it the best in my opinion.

Well, I may need to do something... still trying to catch up to my domain to change MX records.

The latest email address they blocked was that of my assistant!

I bought a couple of e-mail addresses through Godaddy.com, however, I do not use their server. I use Microsoft OUtlook. My e-mail usually works just fine. Although I did have a couple of instances where I didn't receive any e-mail for one entire day, then the next day I received over 100 e-mails.
