Very pretty. I wish that I had a few flowers in my backyard right now!

Hi Rich...As soon as I saw this it reminded me that I need to get out, with hubby driving, to take some pictures along I-95.  Virginia Dept. of Transportation does a beautiful job of sowing wildflower seeds in many areas around the state and it is a real treat for travelers.

Thank you for sharing your photo.  It made me feel good.

Melissa - This is actually in my wildflower bed which is in front of and borders my veggie garden. Hopefully you will have some flowers soon.

Kate - I really love the wildflower programs that many states now have. In Georgia, they have many of the medians and off/on ramps planted with wildflowers. It is brilliant.

Debra - Glad I could brighten your day.

Lou - Its all nature, no photoshop required!

Gary - It seems all of the early flowers are a similar shade of yellow/orange. They are very beautiful.

Debi - It may very well be a poppy! It is in my wildflower garden which thankfully is self-seeding.
