You may remember me talking about the spillgates on Broadway Lake being damaged and it appears that according to an article in the Independent that bids have come in well under the $100000 that was allowed to repair or replace the spill gate. There was not an article on the Friends of Broadway Lake website about this recent news but I would believe the Independent article to be true, especially since it quoted Friends of Broadway Lake president John Steely in the short article.
Broadway Lake is such a nice area and I know the property owners are anxious to get the lake levels back up. If you have not had a chance to enjoy a quiet sunset on Broadway Lake you are really missing something. If you would like to see homes for sale on Broadway Lake just shoot me an email and I will send you a link to all the homes available but do not be surprised that they do not come onto the market often. It is that nice an area, people just do not want to ever move away! As of today there are only 4 homes showing up in the MLS as lakefront for sale!
