Mohave Sun Power, LLC has announced plans to build a 340-megawatt solar concentrating plant 27 miles north of Kingman.
Planned to be one of the largest projects of its type in the world, it will use the same parabolic trough technology with m olten salt storage as the Albiasa Plant previously announced.
Along with the plant proposed for White Hills, this is the 4th project to plan relocation to Mohave County!
Although there is some concern about water useage for these projects, I am seriously hoping for some give & take on the part of local residents considering the need to promote development and job creation in the county.
