Public Parks in the Winter Park, CO Area

Sometime in late 2009 we will be opening the new Fraser Valley Recreation Center - which will be a great amenity for our area. But, until then, use the many outdoor parks in the area. Hideaway Park is located right in the middle of town and is the largest Public Park offering large covered picnic areas, children's  playground and an awesome skate park. Wolf Park, also near the downtown area is the Winter Park "locals secret" and located in the Alpine Timbers Subdivision.  Covered picnic area, children's playground, large grass areas and tennis courts. Rendezvous offers a small but very nice park near the entrance to their development. This is accessible via the main road or by bike on the Fraser River trail. This park is a great little stop and gets little use. The Hi Country Haus Condominiums in downtown Winter Park also have a great little common area park with a playground and covered picnic areas. 2 miles from Winter Park in Downtown Fraser, the Public Park is next to the Town Hall is also a great spot for taking the kids, offering a playground, tennis courts and covered picnic areas.  So get outdoors and stay outdoors in Winter Park at the many Public Park options.
