Wednesday May, 27:  The City of Pleasanton, Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce, Pleasanton Weekly and the Bay East Association of REALTORS® are hosting a Town Hall style meeting about the status of the residential real estate market this Wednesday, May 27 from 7:00 to 8:30pm.  The event will be held at the Veterans Hall at 301 Main Street in Downtown Pleasanton. 

Panelists will include Bay East President Pat Huffman, George Duarte from the California Association of Mortgage Brokers, and Jacqueline Rickman from the Tri-Valley Housing Opportunity Center.  It is open to the public and there is no charge to attend.  

VIPs from the National Association of REALTORS® and the U.S. Conference of Mayors will be on hand to present Bay East with the 2009 Ambassadors for Cities award.  More than 120 participants attended the 2008 event.  It would be great if we could pack the house this year, too.  Please try to attend the town hall to show your support for the local real estate market.
