Relay for Life/Fundraiser

Since I have been with L.W. Reedy Real Estate, they have encouraged us to raise money for this event.  Our office has raised over $10,000 in each of the last two years and hope to do it again.

If you are not familiar with the Relay for Life, it is an American Cancer Society event to raise money and awareness for cancer.  

The overnight event will take place on June 15, 2007 at York High School in Elmhurst.  If you would like to attend, I will be there at the L.W. Reedy tent.

Richard-That's awesome!  I attended one a few years ago.  I was very touched and moved by the event!  Are you participating....as in walking?

Yes, I our office has several people there and we take turns walking.  We try to keep someone on the track throughout the event, but we put more effort into raising money.  I held a bowling tournament and raised several hundred dollars.  I am always looking for new ways to raise money for this cause.  My uncle passed a few years ago from cancer.
