Memorial Day...
On this day, I pray that I be granted the power that I may not so much seek to be consoled but to seek to console others;
not so much to be understood, but to understand others;
not so much to be loved but to love those who have lost.
For it is in their giving that we receive; And in dying they are given to eternal life...

May we always remember those who have given so we can be free...

Wow.

What an incredible picture.  If ever there is a way for us to understand what others have done for us in the name of our freedom, it is pictures like this.

God bless all of them and their families.

Love the messgae, and love the way the crosses drift into the fog... as though they go on forever.  Which unfortunately they do.

Michael, I hear what you say as I sit here on a Sunday evening enjoying a cold beer along with my freedom, I am reminded of a loved one that I lost 10 years ago. I buried him in Arlington National Cemetery and I am proud to be the wife of a military man that served his country with pride.  I am and will always be eternally grateful for all of our hero's that stand strong for the American way of life.
