Need to recycle that old computer, printer, or cell phone?
Have an old computer or printer that still works but is too slow for your needs?
How about furniture, clothes, and other household items that you no longer need?
Looking for some place to do a little volunteer work to help your neighborhood?
Volunteers are needed for a neighborhood cleanup at West Palm and Millar Avenue in downtown El Cajon from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on May 30. The El Cajon Community Development Corporation will provide tools and refreshments for the project.
You can drop off electronic waste such as cell phones, computers, and printers for recycling, and the San Diego Rescue Mission will also be on hand to accept donations of working electronics, clothes, furniture, and other household items in acceptable condition.
To volunteer, contact the Community Development Corporation at 619-401-8858 or email Rebecca Reyes, community development assistant, at rebecca@downtownelcajon.com.
Let's all work together for a sparkling El Cajon!

El Cajon has made a lot of progress in the past few years, but the economy has taken them a step or two backwards.
