I love baseball and my husand loves football. I pull for the braves and Donald pulls for the Chargers. But we both love NASCAR! And while no one in our family pulls for the same driver, we are not pitted against one another, we also hope the other picks in our family do well. My husband is a Jimmie Johnson fan, I'm a Clint Boywer fan, of course my daughter is a Dale Jr. fan and Colin is a Carl Edwards fan.
Well this week my hat is off to Jimmie Johnson for his paint job on his car. I think it's a really great thing to do.
They have added names of any employee of Lowe's who is currently or has past service to the Military. His crew chief Chad said they expected a few hundred names, as it turned out there are over 12,000. You can go to Lowe's Racing website to see if there is anyone you know.
Coming from a family that my father served, my grandfather served and I had an uncle (Johnny Wall) that was killed in Vietnam, Memorial Day is very special to me. I don't take my liberties for granted. I know lots of blood was lost so that I can freely state my opinions. I know sacrifice must be made for continued freedoms.
