Are You More the Contemporary Style?

Do you like that current, modern sleek simple subtle sophisticated look?
Do you like geometric shapes, intriguing shapes and forms, as well as
interesting styles?  Maybe your decorating style is Contemporary.

Wood, leather, glass, chrome, stainless steel and an assortment of other
materials are popular in the contemporary style.  Contemporary is modern,
yet still comfortable, practical and welcoming without being cluttered.
Less is more in the contemporary room.  An open plan is popular for the
brightness, lightness, and spaciousness.

There are no fills, ruffles or floral in this style, no cornice molding,
chair rails or wainscoting.  Very little pattern, no wallpaper, fancy drapes,
tablecloths or other non-essential details are used in this style.

Neutrals, black, and white are the common main colors in contemporary
interiors.  Often color is used to be bold, to contrast.  Accessories tend to
be few, and they tend to be large and bold with clean simple lines
