Honor those that fight for OUR freedom

Today, at 3:00 pm EST, there will be a national moment of silence in honor of those that have fought and continue to fight for our freedom.

Since the war began in 2001, nearly 5,000 Americans have paid the ultimate price to protect our freedom, from the Revolutionary War to Operation Iraqi Freedom, and each war in between.

Many think that Memorial Day is a time for fun, food and the official kick off of summer. Let's not forget the true meaning of Memorial Day. Let us all take time to honor those that have given all, to protect our fine country.

God Bless Our Troops.
