Ok, I am now a twitterer, or twit for short I suppose. I check for new tweets every time I sit down at the computer and try to think of clever one line bits to post that will all at once make me appear intelligent, funny, overwhelm me with new business, and guarantee me a date for saturday night.

It is kind of like shouting from the cliff I must say, uncertain if anyone can hear but I have to do it because Ellen and Anderson Cooper say so. Is there an added element of excitement hidden somewhere within this medium that I am yet to discover?

I am still on the sidelines, watching people like you report on whether Twitter actually helps their business.  I will stay tuned.

Yes you will go blind.......so get a keyboard for the blind.  My mentor is a blind agent who does blog and reads my blogs. www.klattrealty.com .  I don't get the twit thing, so I let AR do the twitting for me.  Something will form out of this in a year, so it is good to have a head start on the unknown.

OK so I have been hearing about the twits, twitters, twitting, and had just decided let it go by the way.  But I read your post and tried to sign up.  They said there were so many on line I would have to come back.  That's like being turned away from a great party...Soooo, sad.

But first you have to grab the publics attention before they will read or be interested in your business.  Use your charming humor.  Then go into the business dialog.  Wishing you well.  Maybe later today I can get you on twitter.

You are just too funny.

By the way, in MY day, a TWIT was a weird person or an annoying person...funny how words change isn't it.... I guess now being a twit or twiter is good!

Hi Mike,

I use Twitter to give updated stats on the Oakville market.  I have it on the front page of my website.  I also have my AR posts automatically transferred there.  I think if it's used effectively it can be a good thing.
