NO! It's NOT You - There's a Hickup in our Giddy-up!

Sometimes in an effort to make improvements , the lightning and thunder (which create the rain ) can also cause some small inconveniences.

As many of you may have or will discover today, we are experiencing some issues with commenting, posting and even uploading photos to your Blog posts. We have narrowed down some of these unfortunate problems to be issues with the Internet Explorer Web Browser for the most part. Photo uploading is not working with either web browser currently. We are aware of ALL these inconveniences.

We're working hard to get it resolved quickly and thank all our members for their patience. :-)

This post will self-destruct 60 seconds after the storm has been weathered and all repairs are completed!

OK Brad, LOL, my phrase is a "hitch in your git-along", but same thing. I was proactive on this one. I had a picture for my usual Wordless Wednesday, so I posted the post with a description of the picture. A bit of a deviation from the norm, however I thought that I would make lemonaid out of my lemons. I am not sure anyone agrees, but hey, it's what I could do.

Drinking water upside down does really cure the hiccups, so you could try that. Or a spoonful of peanut butter. But I don't know how the AR computers would actually respond to either.

Brad - Geez and I thought it was only me..... Not really I see all the posts about it. I tried firefox and it worked for a while but now that wont work either. Got get em Brad! Them thar varmints are making us crazy out here.... :-)

I just have to put my opinion....if we have to use Firefox...isn't that elimating ALL the public who are using IE and want to comment ??

Brad - There are many close to experiencing withdrawal pains . In Realtor terms "Time is of the Essence" ;)

Sally - it's always our goal to make sure the network works with ALL browsers IE, FF, Flock, Safari, and even Google's new Chrome. Internet users use all of these browsers, so we do our best to see that they all work, unfortunately, AR is not like some of the common clothing lines where in many cases, "One Size Fits All!" :-))

We are not trying to start a Firefox Cult here, just for the record. lol~

LOL..... I thought you'd get a kick out of that lol!

Well, I thought it was my computer. The computer and I do not have a high level of trust with each other.

Earlier today, I couldn't get Texas Association of Realtor Web site to pull up. Are you all in cahoots with each other?

Yiks.....thanks to Jeremy I got on firefox and it worked other than pics. And the funny part for me was I was up at 5:00 Phoenix time thinking I'd get to blogging and it went all to the dogs. I was thinking I was loosing it so early in the am! So it' good to know it was the AR gods.......or whatever everybody call you guys!

And for being pretty new to the game........by 4:00 I was mising the rain and that's when I called Jeremy. Hmmm that could be another post.

Thanks for saying "browsers" as it made me think to download another one, and now I'm getting my AR fix for the day, all crammed into a few minutes!

Better late than never… commenting and posting blog entries in Internet Explorer is working again.

Thank you! I tried working on 2 different computers, rebooted over and over, . . . prayed. Nothing worked. At least I know I'm not nuts!

Brad, so it wasn't me! I was trying to change out some photos - deleted the oldies but the newbies wouldn't upload! Being stubborn a 'quick learner', after about 5 times I figured out "It must not be me, it must be something with the server!" lol :) I figured you guys were on top of it.

I had trouble uploading pdf files over the weekend.. so I thought it was a much broader problem. I should have reported that to AR and then you could have blamed in on the cybergods.

The best news is that you let us know about it...were you trying to be sure the nuthouse didn't get overloaded? Heaven knows, there are a lot of us that probably should be there! ;o)

I still can't figure out why some of my posts get 200 points, and some get 225. And it's fluctuatuing back and forth. It's frustrating =(

Seriously??? I thought that it was my work computer. Then I got home and I was able to post comments quite fine. Oh, and I even tried out the Box.net editor that Katerina posted on last month - it works wonders!

Brad...THANK YOU! I took off for six days with my wife to do no work or even visit AR and when I returned I could make nary a comment. I thought maybe i had been put in time out while away playing! Glad to know it was just some growing pains!

I noticed it this morning but when comments started coming on my posts, I realized it was probably fixed. I still couldnt comment though until I figured to rebooot my pc and that did it. I'm back just like the Rain.

The photo thing upset me this afternoon. I thought oh must be my firefox that AR wasnt liking so I had to switch to VMware to use IE and still didnt work at least I know it's not me.

Good thing I am so busy otherwise you would be in trouble!

Withdrawal was an understatement for me (LOL). I ate most of the M&Ms. That's usually shorty's job. Poor Stephen will be traumatized when he raids the refrigerator in the wee hours of the morning. The Minion Blur likes his M&Ms with peanuts (LOL). BTW, what's up with the team blog? All of my writers are in the wind. Sometimes I can't get my stuff in there as well. I figured you all were coding something really cool so I haven't made a peep about it... I've been missing in action taking broker classes and driving clients all over the city. Came home to play and found Gremlins (LOL). :-)

Hi Brad~ I am so glad I hadn't noticed because I just came into the Rain a few minutes ago, so I guessed I missed out on all of the excitement! This is one time I am so glad I missed it! And I am really glad I am not having any trouble right now.

Brad, too bad I missed the storm. All of the comments came through on my phone's email today so I had no idea there was a problem on the rain. LOL! Good timing.

Looks like photo uploads are confirmed to be working now, but the self destruct I placed on this post seems to be down now! LOL~

Lisa - this may be that you are adding topics and your posts to Channels. I believe you get an additional 25 points for that not to mention the other benefits you get on outside blogs widgets by doing so. I think I feel a new post coming on... thanks. :-)

I wanted to post a blog and I was so surprised that I could not get the picture unloaded, and the link icon was not engagesd. After several trys and rebooting the computer and going from IE to firefox and still no upload I decided to go and ask the AR staff. An email was sent and I waited for an email response, but saw your email and felt relieved it was not my computer nor me. Thanks for getting it working again I just posted my post.

Oh well, I was out of town and missed the fun! I took your advise a while back and switched to Firefox and have many fewer problems than I had on IE!

I gave up trying to use IE on AR. Firefox actually seems to get along with AR. While others bang their head against a wall I type comments :)

Having let my hubby (Techno-Chip) use my computer early that morning, I was headed to divorce court before I learned the problem wasn't on my end. AR saved my marriage!

Thanks for the update. I had an issue with commenting yesterday and editing my profile but today has been smooth. I'm also taking a week off of blogging so that may have helped.

Thanks for letting us know. I worked around it by posting to Flickr and inserting html code. I impressed myself by doing that but it was still brain drain ;-)

To be fair - it's the very first time I've ever had a problem loading pictures. Despite my over 200 posts here in the Rain, I had to call someone to ensure I hadn't lost my mind. Good to know!
