Sometimes when things get tough ...do you choose to sit around like a" bump on a Log" or do get out and

make stuff happen ?

I am one of those kinds of folks that can't be still.   Too much to do and so little time to do it in as they say!  Maybe I have attention issues or maybe too many soft drinks or coffee.           LOL

I just cannot stand to not be workingon a project either at work or at home, or some kind of non- profit work.. We don't own any video games, nor do we desire to... even though after visiting my son this past weekend the thought  sure was tempting after we spent the evening fighting off  terrorists on make believe war games. And we actually watch little television anymore. Is there any "good TV" even produced anymore? We may never know.

Still,  when it comes to work I would rather be making calls , helping other agents, or going through scraps of paper on my desk seeking out leads, than wasting time playin solitare, or randomly surfing.   Have you ever done that? ( searched for leads on your desk?)  Why not? It is sort of like hunting for change in your car seat if you left your wallet at home. No telling what you might discover! Could turn into a listing or a buyer!   So don't be a log bump ...instead go make some stuff happen.

LOL! Trey, I frequently search for leads on my desk! LOL The phone rings, I write the name and number down along with any details to jog my memory later then I run out the door to an appointment and come back later in the evening to sift through all the little notes. :)

Hi Trey!
I am like you...even when I am home, I can't just sit.  I only look forward to a couple shows..NCIS and Medium.  I am about to start scuptling again since I can only do so much blogging before even that gets old!  Knock on wood...I am busy with listings at work...now I need to get more of them to sell. In our area, listings over $500,000 are only about 2% of all sales in our county! ARGH!

Trey - I seem to be incapable of being the proverbial bump.  I get fidgety when I'm not working on anything at all.

Hi Trey... I'm with you on this one... I can't not be working on something.  And more than likely, I am working on multiple projects.  I like to multi-task.

Trey - I search for all kinds of things on my desk, including sometimes last weeks lunch. Unfortunately, do to arthritis, I do most of my work from a sitting position.

Paula

Much of the country seems to have had quite a dip in sales of homes in the 500$ and up sector. We have. So we concentrate on whatever we must to make a living.

Jason

I get the D T's and shake when idle.  LOL

Steve

I am not a good multi tasker but can get things accomplished

Mike

I had this vision of you picking up crumbs from yesterday's sandwich   LOL!

Trey - I must admit, I fluctuate between a state of being comatose and action oriented.  Sometimes however, when the going gets tough and I feel a tad overwhelmed, I vow to take a time out (or a nap), and wake up with a whole new perspective with ideas.
