I think you will be surprised how affordable the Dairyland is,

so come to my land of cows and plows and visit for a day, but stay for a lifetime

Humm...both! It's a flower until you find them all over your back yard...then they become a weed :~)

That is a pretty looking weed, if you ask me.

LOL I like what Kelli said. My toddler thinks they are flowers and wants to rip them all up and smell them :) ~Rita

I'm ditto-ing Kelli.  They add nice color to your yard, but the next thing you know, they ARE your yard.

This is the first year that I have considered them weeds. based on what I spread on them. My father-in-law would make wine out of them.

How ironic that people work so hard to try to get rid of these blooms and then just as hard to try to get other blooms to flourish!

Hi Scott ~ Nemesis I would say.  I have to go on dandelion picking patrol more than once a day.  The first pass will leave not a yellow spot on the yard. Come back half an hour later and more have popped up all over.  Take a day or two off and you're taunted by the knobs -bare of the seeds that have blown about the yard.  I know there's a better way but that's where I'm at right now.

I think all flowers were once wild and were considered weeds we just claim the ones we like the most as flowers and started collecting the seeds and harvesting by hand...

Scott,

Interesting question, but then many weeds have absolutely beautiful flowers. :)
