Here is another place where you can create a web site for free: wix.com
Wix provides the capability to easily build and host a web site for free. The site offers drag-and-drop functionality so that you can edit the pre-built templates. The template designs are simple and sleek, and there are dozens already for you to edit.
I've been experimenting with the Property Pro template (on page 7 or 8 of the templates). I like the fact that it has just four main tabs across the top, with each tab having subtabs, or mini-tabs as they call them, so you can add detailed information under each tab. The Home page looks neat and clean.
Wix gives you the ability to add music, video, photos, graphics, etc. Plus there are numerous widgets to insert. My favorite right now is the RSS Carousel. If you have other web sites with RSS feeds (like your AR blog), you can cluster all of the RSS feed links together in a graphic that goes round and round. Like I said, ultracool!
The free version offerd by wix.com does have some ad links for wix, but these are subtle and I think nicely done as far as advertising goes. You can upgrade to a paid site, and that will remove the ad links.
Have fun exploring wix.com, and let me know what you come up with!
