KNOW YOUR WEBSITE. This is very important. My current website was built by a company that builds real estate websites. They get most of their traffic from the Internet. So when they built my site they put things in the HTML that boosts their web presence and actually hurts me in my search engine optimization.

If your search google for Tupelo, MS real estatethier info comes up before mine. Or it used to anyway. I have a friend who is a very good IT guy and he is working on my site as well as building me a new site. He has done great things with my current site but can't change the way it is written due to limited access. So hes building me a new one.

Be careful when buying the pre designed websites and remember they are in business to sell websites.
