I think that band is just so big now that they are mainstream enough to be everywhere and sell.
I wonder how many greenies showed up for their concert in hopes of saving the planet.
Hi Russell-You most definitely need to know your target market. It is where the bread and butter of your business will be. The best advertising is Zoey the cool Cat. <SMILE>
Hey, Shane - You don't know East San Diego County.
Hey, Charles - I was thinking about going -- LOL
Hey, Sharon - I always try to convince my Clients to use some person happiness in their marketing, whether it be a love of travel, cars, cats, dogs, wildlife, etc. People like to connect with other people on a person basis, to know that the other person is not an automaton.
Russell, you sound like you drive like my brother in law. He is so busy looking around I always wonder how we get where we are going but we do get there.
Hey, Marchel - Is your brother-in-law a Native Texan like me? It might have something to do with male Native Texans -- LOL.
Hi Russel,
so that's why my husband can't keep his eyes on the road. We argue about it everytime we drive to Waco from Glenn Heights. He was born in Houston.
Hey, Angelia - Hmmm. Circumstantial evidence seems to be accumulating against male Native Texan drivers -- LOL.
WIth the cost of marketing so high right now, if you dont target the right areas, then you are flushing those dollars down the toilet in many cases.
Hi Russel,
That is really funny because, I know Green Day is a band-very familiar with them, however, whenever I look at their advertising, I think GREEN. It's a good thing. Great marketing for them. As far as the driving goes...OMG, you would drive me CRAZY! Sorry, not getting in the car with you, I will babysit Kitty though.
Hmmm...hang out...bus stop...hmmm...I think not....unless it is strategically located outside a martooni bar...hmmm ?
Hey, John - I sure wish I had just half of those dollars back that I flushed down the toilet -- LOL.
Hey, Cindy - What if I take Zoey the Cool Cat for a ride in the car? Will you come with me then? LOL
Hey, Sally and David - This one was not too far from one of East County's tattoo parlors. Since the tattoo parlor is next to one of the farmer's markets that I patronize, I went in one time out of curiosity -- don't worry, I don't have a tattoo, never did, and never will. The tattoos they had on the wall as examples were not any that I would be proud of exhibiting, and certainly nothing that any self-describing Green Day fan would have.
Russel, This made me laugh out loud. I'd be willing to bet (depending on where the bench is) that the ROI is high :) As a constant concert goer, I want to be "in the know" and if I havpen to see it on a park bench (or anywhere else) and I like the person or group, I'm there! I saw Green Day...back in the day. They were good :)
Hi Russel: I suspect that someone at the advertising company likes Green Day. When they didn't have an advertiser for the bench - he stuck that Green Day design in their until they got a new sponsor for the bench.
:)
