Want To Change Government...Get Involved Now!

By
Real Estate Agent with BCR Realtors 262359

Most citzens including Realtors have no problem complaining about their government, whether local or national. I admit I am certainly guilty of complaining about government, perhaps more so than the average individual.  Currently I am unhappy with all levels of government, but finally pursueded my ego to shut up and quit blapping. I had to do something so.. I made myself join our governmental affairs committee with our local association of Realtors. I know I am just one voice as there are others on the committee. We are a small team that is finally beginning to make a small but important difference locally.  WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Then a few weeks ago I began attending a committee that meets regularly with our Homebuilders Association .  That task group is beginning to have an effect also  .  I am truly amazed at how educated some of its members are about local governmental issues that effect our homebuilding and real estate industry locally. I am truly humbled by these individuals....both homebuilders and Realtors.  They work seflessly to try and effect change on all our behalf.

However.......There are many agents that don't have the foggiest about what is going on with the economy, or goverment...I was one of those but want to change. Do You?
