Like most areas, New Fairfield, Connecticut homes sales have declined lately.  Along with declining home values, we are also seeing declines in the number of homes actually selling.  This graph shows the number of closed home sales in New Fairfield from the first half of 2000 (1H2000) through today.

Number of Homes Sold - New Fairfield Connecticut

As is apparent from the graph, we are seeing far fewer homes selling than we have in the past.  While there appear to be indicators that the number of closed home sales may be about to begin increasing again, we do not yet have concrete statistics to back up this theory.

Lenn - New Fairfield held on to its values for a bit longer than even neighboring towns, so there shouldn't be too much complaining.
