Craig, I love the look of the downtown area and thank you for the brief history. I imagine it is a great place to live!
Craig, the Apex area looks charming and a train for a city hall is unusual! Since it is the top spot in the area does that mean you are the top banana???
I like the unique city hall. Older towns with some history make great hometowns. This looks like a great place to live.
Craig,
Sound like a great place live.
Wonder what the chances of Heather Locklear being elected mayor?
I couldn't agree more! I love living here
Craig, I never knew that Apex was such a great little place. If I didn't love the Crystal Coast so much, I'd be calling you about relocation! Have a great day!
Hi Craig ~ So, did you major in history in College? I would have guessed music but with all of the great historical posts you have been writing about North Carolina recently, I could be wrong!
Have a terrific weekend!
Hi Craig...I can see several similarities between Apex and Titusville in terms of size and date of incorporation. Very nice Localism post which should be helpful to folks thinking about relocating to the area. Have a terrific weekend my friend :-)
Craig, Apex sounds like a wonderful smaller town. And it looks like a fun festival....I love festivals!
1873 WOW, that's an OOOOOld town for sure!
Craig- great article and history of our little town. I love living here, and am surprised at the amount of people I meet on my travels throughout the country how many have heard of Apex, know someone who lives here, or have lived here.
Terrific photo of a lovely small town USA - But you've probably caused interest in it to grow, and in a few years it'll be mid (size) town USA! ;)
Debi
Hi Craig! I think you need to run for Mayor of Apex....you seem to be the one promoting the city...Mayor Craig...hmmm..has a nice ring to it don't ya think?
Hey, Craig. It looks like a great place to call home. If I ever visit you have to promise that you will pull my around in the covered wagon. LOL, Jim
Wanda - And thank you for stopping in! It really is a great place to live, work and play!
Caren - I might be a banana...But I'm not so sure about the top spot!!!
Betina - I agree with you 100%. Old towns rich in history are just great places to live.
Richard - Ahhh, you've been reading my blogs have you?!!!
Nevin - You speak from experience my friend!
Amy - You can still call me about relocation. Lots of people own more than one home!!!
Terrie - Nope! I'm no history major. But I do like to know about the past.
Gail - Hope you had a great weekend too! I just checked it out and Titusville and Apex do seem similar.
Carole - There are so many great family friendly festivals here in Apex. It's a great place to raise kids.
Greg - Old town with nes amenities. The best of both worlds.
Linda - It's a small world...I just met someone in DC that lives in Apex. And meetings like that happen all the time no matter where I travel.
Debi - I know. SHHHHHHH! Keep it quiet. Someone may be listening!
Cecily - Mayor? Hmmm? Haven't thought about that....I'll have my people work on that! But it does have a nice ring to it!!!
Jim - Jim, if you ever visit, I'll make sure you and Maria are well taken care of. I'm dusting off my rick-shaw right now!!!
