Onslow County NC schools will soon close for the summer -- the last day for students is June 10.  Kids are excited, parents have mixed emotions--happy for the kids, ready for a break from all the activities but worried about how to keep the kids busy and entertained.

Mom and Dad, don't let the kids sit inside watching tv or playing on the computer.  There is another solution available and it  is the Onslow County library's summer program.  On Saturday, June 13 from 10 AM to 2 PM there will be a "Kickoff Carnival" featuring music, clowns and activities.  A concert featuring Pauline Smith will entertain the entire family.

Registration for the Summer Program - 

Tuesday, June 16 -  2 to 4 PM - Richlands Library

Wednesday, June 17 - 10 AM to Noon- Sneads Ferry Library

Wednesday, June 17 - 2 to 4 PM - Swansboro Library
