What attitude do you take in tough times?....Portsmouth NH Real Estate-Hampton NH Real Estate-patricia4realestate.com

I'm the kind of person that always remains optimistic, even when things get tough. Looking at the glass half full as they say is the attitude I display. Things will get better, this too shall pass and all that good thinking that my mother raised me on has sure paid off in this market.

The economy has hurt everyone regardless of wealth and stature. If this this makes us feel any better to know this. If you look around you, regardless of how bad off you may feel or be...there is always someone worse off than yourself. Just look around for a bit and you'll find that someone.

Happy people seem to rise above the status quo and some how make a dent in the positive attitude theory. The look up instead of down, they feel positive and happy no matter what, and they move forward with a team spirit that will get them to shore when the boat  is rocking.

Do you think you are the kind of person that is upbeat and positive? If so what do you attribute this too? I'd like to hear from you so I'll be waiting by the keyboard for your comment.

Thanks in advance for your attention to this post today. It's appreciated.

Caring expertise...knowledge for you!

I've always thought that the universe returns to us what we "put out".   A positive attitude brings help to everyone we meet, and often we don't even know that we had an uplifting effect on someone.    Eventually, though, what goes around comes around, right?    (You had a wise mother!).

Hi Patricia, I usually have a positive attitude, there are times when certain situations can get me down -- but I find I just don't have the energy required to be a pessimist!

I think positively most of the time.  I have a little framed Bible verse over my door that says in caligraphy (done by one of my art students) "All things work together for good to those who love God."  I always found that pretty inspirational.

My wise old grandmother always told me that a working person is a productive person. So I create a five-year plan of where I want to be in five years. Then I break it down into years, months, weeks, days, and sometimes even hours. Then I work those hours and days persistently and consistently. By doing that, the weeks, months, and years just naturally fall into place, putting me at, or ahead of, where I wanted to be five years down the road. Try it. I think you'll find that it works. Reward yourself each day for accomplishing your tasks each day. I don't get to go sit in the hot tub until I've accomplished everything.
