Anyone with Short Sale or Loan Modification experience with National City Mortgage?

I have had a difficult time getting anything accomplished with National City Mortgage on both my short sale and a loan modification that I am working on. I sit on hold for no less than 45 minutes at a time and then I will get someone rude, not helpful, and tries to rush me off the phone. Curious if anyone else is having this type of response from them?

Never had a short sale with them, but maybe you can ask if there is a better number to call or if you can get the negotior's e-mail and/or phone. Also, try kissing but and being nice and pleasant.

Also, try calling customer service to see who is the department head. Maybe contacting this guy will help:

I had one about a year and a half ago. It was one of our first successful ones. Went well. Yes, I was on hold a long time, and it was right when they filed bankruptcy, but it worked out just fine. Good luck.

I have being trying to work witht hem for 2 years on a construction loan that went to their default loan since mine was gone by the time the home builder finfshed it which was 8 months later than what he promised and have gotten no where god help us and them all.
