Compared with other areas of the city , East Mountain is keeping even in terms of the number of sales in the neighborhood . Nice, attractive, desirable area, but again, not many sales. A look at what sold shows that the closer a home is listed to its perceived value by buyers, the sooner it will sell. There was a $1900 difference between the list/sell price for the home that was on the market for two weeks, versus a difference of $9900 and $18,400, respectively, for the homes that were on the market for almost 9 months and 4 months.
