The following photo was taken on May 25, 2009 at Yellowstone National Park at the Lake Village.
Yellowstone Lake is the largest freshwater lake above 7,000 feet (2,133 m) in North America. It is located at precisely 7,732 feet (2,376 m) above sea level and it the largest body of water in Yellowstone National Park.
If you like what you see, you will want to come back and visit my upcoming series of posts on Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone is a must-see if you are in the Red Lodge area. The North-East entrance of Yellowstone National Park is only 69 miles from Red Lodge via the scenic Beartooth Pass.
