Are you guys ever wondering if you are using the right products to spruce up homes?? Is it safe? Eco-friendly?

I have to kinda laugh.  As a stager, we try to be considerate with decluttering, and depersonalizing. In redesigning spaces, we bring in new colors, fabric, furnishings, and accessories. We want homeowners to "feel welcome" in their own space again--right? The "green" way. But in this new way of living, what about homes feeling safer and healthier too?

Whether it's Stagers, Redesigners, Agents, DIY'ers, or a cleaning crew, the harsh chemical fumes are getting us. We just don't automatically think of getting an allergic reaction, or eczema. I found out the hard way-my eyes, my lungs, and my hands.

Because of that, a friend introduced me to these products that are truely environmentally safe. I started using these eco-sensitive products in my own home, and I wanted to share this info. They are ph-balanced, non abrasive, and non-caustic. There are no fillers, no phosphates, no chlorine bleach, no ammonia, no aerosols, and no formaldehyde! No more itching!

Because these products are so effective,  I offer them to agents at office presentations, and at open houses. I also give these products as a thank you gift to clients' homes that I've staged or redesigned. I'm excited about keeping their home safe and healthy. If you are concerned about your family's health, too, and or your clients' homes and office environment, please contact me, and I'll be happy to pass along the information to you.

Yep, I've gone green!

Laura,  These products sound like just the thing I've been looking for.  I think our bodies begin to become irritated by chemicals that used to not bother us so muchin the past. At lease that is what I think is happening to me, could jusr be getting old :-).  I'm glad the good old days of the cleaning products that you had to use gloves with are becoming a thing of the past.

Thanks so much for the info.

Hi Laura, My daughter has severe asthma so I try to be careful with the products used in our home. I purchased a steam cleaner last year that eliminates this problem. It uses very little water and heats it to 190 degrees, you can use it to clean carpets, hardwood floors, countertops, bathrooms....everything. It's absolutely fabulous and it kill 99.9% of bacteria with out using anything but water....It's called a Polti.

Hi Janelle,

I think it's both! Yea, the good OLD days. ha. I have a friend here who still does the dishes with those gloves--but because she uses burning hot water to get them clean!

Thanks for commenting. If you're interested in reading more info on the products, go to

Hi Kimberly-

Thanks for the info. I would love to get a steamer to use on floors, but also with an attachment to use to get the wrinkles out of window treatments, bedding, etc. I'll check out the Polti.

I hope your daughter is doing better!

Laura, I use Seventh Generation brand, as well as make my own dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent.  Good reminder that there are alternatives to the customary toxic chemicals people are so fond of using.

Hi Terry,

I have heard of them too. But, I am really excited now! What I have just recently done, is gotten more involved with these products.  I am increasing my income to my staging and redesigning business by referring these health and wellness products.

Check it out. Let me know if you'd like more info.

Wow, you have alot of points!

Laura :)
