Motivational Power Quote

Happiness is Not About Perfection

"Being happy doesn't

mean that everything is perfect.

It means that you're decided

to look beyond the imperfections."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Happiness in not about perfection . . . . .

True happiness is found in accepting ourselves.

We find happiness when we decide to let go of the past and to look pass our imperfections.

Happiness if formed in our thoughts when we accept ourselves as who we are; once we accept ourselves, we can determine our path and our future.

Be yourself, accept yourself as who you are and look past your imperfection and look to the future and you will find happiness.

As always Lou you've got the goods and from one of my all time favorites.  If ever there were a man who had the right to wallow in his own self misery Ralph was that guy, instead he chose to leave this world better than he found it.

Very true and wise words Lou!

Could it be true that happiness is just a false notion that was formed by our experiences as a child.  I find it fascinating that some people in very dire circumstances seem to live content and happy lives.  Others with much more materially find happiness elusive.

I always tell people that they can always decide to have a good time and be happy. Its a decision.

I think there is a direct correlation between happiness and gratitude.  The more grateful you are, the happier you will be.  Fortunately, things don't have to be perfect in order to be grateful.

Hey Lou

You're just too happy.  You need to get over that.......naught!  People are as happy as they decide to be, et!  I always say 'everthing is perfect or it would be different'.  Accept what is and love it all!
