"Staging" Tables for a Great Cause

Let this post serve as inspiration for your event, fund raiser or even your own personal party. Platinum Home Staging, Inc. was proud to be a part of this year's Angels of the Alliance fund raiser luncheon to support the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Center. The Alliance raises funds to continue support of music and arts in the local schools and to bring underprivileged children see professional performances at the Civic Center.

Each year, for the Fund Raiser Luncheon "Angels" are asked to decorate tables and although there are some "categories", you are really left to your own devices and imagination. Since this was our first year, Platinum Home Staging, Inc. actually volunteered our services and inspirations to THREE tables (most only do one); there were approximately 35 tables total, here are some of our favorites: Mouse of the images to get the Names of each table.

Event's are so time consuming, it's like being a wedding planner, without the bride. I love what you did, you really have to be creative to come up with new ideas!

Kathy S ~It was like a fairy tale - there were so many that I didn't include and some were EXTREMELY detailed and I am were VERY costly to set up.

Thank you, Tosha, a lot of the details get lost in these pictures. I'll post a few more showing some of the details of centerpieces.

Yes, it was very time consuming, Cindy, & I had NO idea what some of these participants did since this was the first year. I was told, however, that this year was definitely taken up a few notches because they had always hosted it outdoors in a tent in previous years. This was the first time it was indoors, (protected) and electrical provided.

Love your Garden Tea Party and Peacock Paradise! That must have been a fun staging 'project' and a welcome change from the usual venue!

OH! Slumdog Inspired is so awesome, Royal Oppulance is too! Incredible details on each table Connie. What fun and such a great cause-wish I was there to help you!!

What clever ideas Connie. Your tables look fabulous. Makes me want to entertain. I love creating tablescapes. How wonderful such a fun project is also for a good cause. Thank you for sharing all the photos!

This was a nice change of pace, Vivian. Except next time I think I'll focus on one FABULOUS table, instead of three.

It was a very fun project, Cathy, and for a very good cause. Slum dog was one of my favorites. You can't see the details in the picture, because I wanted to show how TALL it was - but everything was very detailed, bright & sparkly.

Michele H~ Tablescapes are one of my favorites when I have a large group coming over for lunch, BBQ or dinner. It makes your guests feel "special" that you went through so much work. Luckily I have family who throw some FABULOUS parties, so I didn't have to look far to get inspiration for these tables.
