Who missed (Vegas Bob's) Birthday, I wore my favorite Birthday clothes!

What did you look like when you were 20 years old? (Robert Swetz - age - 20)

Let's have some fun with this post and I can't help the way I looked when I was 20 years old. And when I look back at these photographs it sure brings back some fun memories.

Memories when I was foot loose and fancy free, when I didn't have a care in the world, no responsibilities what so ever! A time when we took youth for granted and we all wanted to be older.

These photographs were taken in Portland Oregon when I left my family back in the midwest to be on my own, and the shoes above were Beetle Boots.

Sorry above the glasses but I did wear prescription glasses and I was trying to disguise who I was, (right)! Back when these photographs were taken I had a huge collection of vintage clothing.

Yes, those are black and white saddle shoes and were they comfortable!

Now that everyone has seen photos of me when I was 20 years old, let's see what everyone else looked like and don't be shy!

My birthday is tomorrow and you have to guess how old I am, and if you know please keep it a secret! And looking at these photos sure makes me feel old, (but not in mind)!

Looking at your photos the top one look like it is out of the 50's but the rest of the pic's by looking at your hair and cloths, saddle shoes it looks like the late 70's , early 80's so I'm going to guess your are going to be 50. Happy Birthday

Don't have any pix from when I was 20 but I worry that others do, which is why I will never run for public office. Based on your bad-boy 2nd photo, you may well have one of me from that time frame!

Bob - I mainly looked about 40 pounds lighter back then! I did, however, get carded while buying wine at the grocery store last year. Yes!

Bob - Happy Birthday and I'm glad you were inspired by my last post to share old photos of yourself. Not many were brave enough to upload their photos to my post. Are some AR members that self conscious about their image? I think photos of "way back when" just make people more real and accessible. The ability to laugh at one's self should be fun and can be contagious.

Happy Birthday Vegas Bob! Which day is/was it? My sisters was 6/3. You definitely had some stylish clothes in your 20s. Idk if I could find a jpg of me from way back then... If I do, I promise to share.

First, belated Happy Birthday! Second, I used to dress mannequins for a living, and worked with lots of men, "secure enough in their masculinity", to enjoy a little fashion! Looks like you enjoyed a little fashion, back in the day! I'm also going to guess 50, because of the 80's glasses in photo #3.
