TWITTER IN NORTH CENTRAL WASHINGTON

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Cascade Real Estate

You see and hear lots of people pushing Twitter as a sales tool. Is it really? Is it just a sales tool or do you need to use it in other ways too and gain sales through the back door? Lots to consider and there are many approaches an none are 100% correct.  If you live in North Central Washington and can easily get to Wenatchee you might want to consider the following:

" TWITTER TECH EVENT At the Wenatchee performing Arts center. Sponsored by the PAC and Wenatchee Chamber. Free! From 5-6:30 on June 17th. Time to network after..."

This is a good opportunity to learn, network and perhaps find the elusive deal...lol

See you there!

Perrin,  I need to go to that event!  Too far away, though:)  Getting ready for the Buffini Summertime Surge!

It's a Good Life,

I think one huge error people make on Twitter is trying to sell with every entry. I view it as more of an opportun ity to build credibility and at the send time be a source of information and an occasional direct sales pitch. About 70% of my tweets are re-tweeting useful information from other sources, discussing various things thatare going on and also real estate inf (as in just got an inspection done on a new listing...saved clisent thousands by finding problems before we list not to mention potential liability") Ill tweet an open house or a new listing and of course a sale...but mostly it is informative... got a call from a large natinal bank on Thursday for assistance with some property based upon the tweets...

But if everything is sell, sell, sell... peopel soon turn it or you (or both) off.

IMHO!

I agree with your comment, Perrin. Twitter can most effectively be used as a tool to build credibility by sharing information.

Thanks Jackie... uinfortunately a lot of people and oaches don't see it that way and rapidly get turned off. Our entire business is about building credibility and relationships...at least if you want to last!
