I want what I want

By
Real Estate Agent with Long and Foster Real Estate

I want what I want
Are needs wrong or right
Will I call off the hunt,
Or stay in the fight

Flight is a siren
She appeals to my fears
Her song so seductive
Salty sweet like my tears

Or is she a seraphim
Sent to break chains
Betrayed by my guardian
The will waxes and wanes

My daemons and angels
Cry out through the night
And days are a tangle
No peace is in sight

To unlock my future
Which door shall I choose
What new worlds await me
How much more might I lose?

Through deafening din
I strain to hear truth
Am I out, Is he in
Have I surrendered my youth?

Will I stand and fight
Will I heed the siren song
I want what I want
Are needs right or wrong?

Somehow I doubt you'll be able to finalize your decision anytime soon. You know what they say... never give up anything you'll still be thinking about tomorrow. If you want it - really want it - then take it!

Jennifer...I found my answer. My seraphim has arrived!

Ridding my life of the negative forces has made space for prosperity, peace, and new opportinities to enter.

Tears have turned to smiles and the sun is shining.

So glad to see that in some fashions life is better. Of course, when it comes to hate...I guess I will just have to say............the last few months have produced a resounding "I told you so".....

Robin,

I really like the poem! I think I've been there a time or two, in my own life... Thanks for expressing it so well!
