9:15pm and I'm soaking wet and steaming...Just home from showing properties in the pouring rain to some fully qualified, committed buyers from out of town. So what's to cry about? How about pulling up to a showing and opening the door only to find it was grossly misrepresented by the listing agent. Ceramic tile floors- yeah original tile from the 70's! Nice neutral carpet- sure thing except for ALL the spots & stains! We all know we are not responsible for every other agents listing description but it sure makes us look and feel bad when we step inside and find a property to be NOTHING like the listing agents description...come on people, how many sales have you really made from words...buyers are going to SEE it all, so go ahead and tell it like it is! Highlight the best points of course, but please don't blatantly leave out the obvious! I know it helps when we can preview listings first, but it's just not always possible. Thanks, I sure feel better...and there's always tomorrow!
