7 Comments on Walter Andersen's Garden Nursery garden railroad
Jom,
I have never heard of this place before...I enjoyed the slide show. Do you have any idea how long it took them to build this, its amazing! It's a smart way to attrack customers.
Hey Jim, great slide show. Did you get a new camera too?
We have to ask, do you type your blogs somewhere else and copy and paste? They always look better than the average blog.
Hey, Jim. I could not imagine all the hard work it took to complete such a project. How awesome and I love the huge duck decoy in photo #12. Thanks, Jim
Hey, Linda - The railroad has been there since the day they opened, so no one knows how long it took to build it. It takes up about a third of the nursery, though. It's huge.
Hey, Al and Peggy - Russel set up my ActiveRain blog template for me. Occasionally I mess it all up and he fixes it for me. I'm not very HTML literate.
The new camera belongs to someone else. He hasn't let me use it yet. :(
Hey, Jim - I could sit out there for hours and watch the trains go around, watch the rivers flow, watch water flow over the waterfalls, and watch the ducks swim. Oh, wait. That's right. It's a decoy duck. Well, they do have a lot of butterflies and hummingbirds around.
That is really neat thank you for sharing, I would like to see that seems really neat. Its like a little town.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Kim White
Hi Jim: Watching trains is a lot like watching fish in an aquarium.
:)
Jim, congratulations on your blog, very nicely done. My wife and I are also Walter Anderson devotees and spend much time and money there. The results are wonderful, working from home I get to enjoy the really great garden my wife, Kay has designed.
