This is one of the recent photos I took while visiting and traveling in Germany. It was taken in a church close to my mother's town. Construction of this church began as early as 870 and was completed in 1270. Subsequent alterations and renovations were completed since in response to destruction and just plain deterioration over time.
Sunlight was streaming through this window that day creating an interesting contrast between the delicate colors reflected on the interior walls and the sturdy brick exterior of the structure.
