Women Smarter Than Men...??? Monday Morning Minutia...!!!

Are women smarter than men...???

On one of the local soft rock radio stations they have a weekly contest where they ask a question, and if the caller answers it right, they receive a monetary reward...

This morning's question: What do women do that renders them perceived by both sexes as being more intelligent than men...???

I'll give you a little time to think about the question before I reveal the answer...!!!

Some possible answers running through my mind were 'truck driving' and 'handling the family checkbook'...

Now, I'm not sure how they derived the answer or even who did the study...BUT...

The correct answer was 'cut their hair short'...

I'm pretty sure 'long haired' women are perceived by most men as sexy...but I've always been attracted to 'short haired' women...

I've always felt women (short hair or long) were generally more intelligent than men...I think my rationale was that women had 'more' hair than men...men generally get bald...and thus the antennae needed to 'receive' smart signals were greater among women...(Fran's reasoning...unscientific)

Hey, maybe that's where the term 'short wave' derived it's meaning...!!!

So, let the debate begin...that's the long and short of it...!!!

Well, I CAN'T argue with this post (women are smarter than men)... LOL

Considering you spent the time to write this blog, and I read the whole thing and responded to it, proves that women are probably smarter than men.

Now Fran... you KNOW the length of hair has nothing to do with it... it's past my shoulders, but I go back and and forth, long to short, short to long. I love change...:)

Fran - in school I thought that girls were smarter than boys, even though I almost always got better grades. At the risk of sounding like Larry Summers, when he was president of Harvard, women show more aptitude in certain areas of study and expertize and men show more aptitude in other areas. Besides that, bald men are smarter, we don't waste our energies or hormones on trivial things like a full head of hair.

Fran, short it is. Interesting my husband has always liked my hair long. But, when it was long it was always pulled back in a pony tail, so what was the point.

I have been trying to grow it out but I hate it and announced tonight at dinner I was going back short.

Not smarter... different... incomparable, for God took/made the woman from the man to help him. Man has been needing that part ever since. When he recognizes this need... he becomes smart!
