Cell numbers going public: Register for the Do Not Call List

Next Month cell phone numbers will go public, this means that if you dont want to be bugged with telemarketers calling you at your cell number you have to register. It only takes a minute to register your cell phone number. Call 888-382-1222 and follow the prompts (you have to call from the cell phone you are registering). It takes 30 days to take effect. Please Pass It On!

Is this for sure?? I have heard this a couple times over the last 3 years....I am hoping it is not true but if it is yes indeed register "Quickly"...before you get even more calls than the office interruptions!

Is this for real this time-- some months back this was reported and then said to be spoof. ??

Aaron, I already have done that a couple of years back. Is that something additional to previous ones?

Aaron... it appears that this is not true... check out www.snopes.com anytime you have a question.

I got an email from my company but other than that I cant verify it. Sorry if this is incorrect.

aaron... just follow the link I've provided, and you'll see that it's not correct. Company's are at risk for sending our incorrect information too. snopes.com is the first place I go, when I hear any "internet" information that I'm tempted to share.

I did check our snopes and it did say that this was false, thanks for trying to help us, you never know someday it might be true.

Aaron - This message has been delivered time and time again over the past several years. I had never heard of snopes, but I will check them out now before I believe any of these hoaxes.
