High Plains CCIM District of the North Texas Chapter of the CCIM Institue

CCIM Designees from Abilene, San Angelo, Midland, Lubbock, Odessa, and Amarillo met to formalize the new district that will service designees from West Texas. The meeting was held at Fairway Oaks Country Club on Friday and Saturday. The commercial real estate professionals met to approve By Laws and vote on officers.
The officers elected are: Scott Senter, President - Abilene; Paul Johnson, Vice President - Abilene; Gabe Irving, Secretary/Treasurer - Amarillo.
Saturday there was a STDB (site to do business) meeting presented by Jay Lucas, CCIM. STDB is a website with Demographics & GIS, marketing software, CCIM intranet, mobile office tools, and finance software. This is available as a benefit to all CCIM designees and available to the general public for a fee.
There was a marketing session on Friday to exchange commercial real estate haves and wants from their communities. Each representative gave a report on their city with regard to current economics and lease and sale rates regariding industrial, office, retail, restaurant, and multi-family properties.
The group dined together at Perini's Steakhouse Friday night.
There were 23 atttendees for this first business meeting. Plans for a fall meeting in Lubbock are underway.
