ActiveRain Members - HGTV’s "House Hunters" Is Now Casting and Looking for YOU!
HGTV’s hit TV series, House Hunters, is looking for Homebuyers and Real Estate Agents who want to appear on the show! ActiveRain and HGTV are working together in an effort to find qualified candidates who may be interested in sharing their "House Hunting" journey on National Television.
This could be a huge opportunity, and a lot of fun for some of our members and their clients.
House Hunters follows buyers and their agents on the hunt as they find just the right house for them—and every story is different. If you’re an energetic and outgoing Real Estate Agent currently working with a Homebuyer, we'd love to hear from you.
Are you in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Missouri, Minnesota, Georgia or Colorado?
House Hunters is currently looking for Homebuyers who are:
Buying within a 90 min. drive of downtown Philadelphia, Denver, Atlanta, Minneapolis/St. Paul and St. Louis
Closing in the next 1-2 months, this includes buyers who are actively bidding on a home or newly under contract
Fun, enthusiastic, and have a great story to tell
If you're interested, let me know and I'll forward your information to their Associate Producer. If you'd rather, you can also apply directly at HouseHunters@HighNoonEntertainment.com. Thanks for helping us find some members and clients for their show, we're excited about assisting them with this endeavor.
House Hunters airs weeknights at 9/8c on HGTV and is produced by High Noon Entertainment. To learn more about the show visit HGTV.com/HouseHunters. We appreciate your support with this Casting Quest.
Brad,
We are about 90 minutes north of Atlanta in a second home, vacation destination area - the beautiful mountain lakes of northeast Georgia. I qualify perfectly for everything they are looking for except having buyers who are going to close in the next month or two.
Boo-Hoo!!!
If any buyers turn up, I'll get right back to you!!! Thanks for the tip.
Lynda
This is great! I, and my daughters, LOVE to watch HGTV and these shows! We will definitely watch; I assume we will be notified somehow when the shows will air?
Philly, huh? Why is it always Philly (or Pittsburgh)??? You never, ever, hear much about our area in SouthCentral PA. We have so much to offer here, so I don't understand this... York - the first Capitol of the United States! Harrisburg - the Capitol of PA. Lancaster - home of the Amish, and OUTLETS! OUTLETS! OUTLETS! and Hershey is... well - HERSHEY!! This whole area is just gorgeous! We have the Susquehanna River (hence the nickname "The Susquehanna Valley"). Our history is very rich... maybe one day someone will take notice and pay some attention to our little part of the world. We have normal people, with normal jobs, normal homes, conservative values (for the most part). It's a great place to be!!
Hey Brad...nice catch HGTV is popular. How about offering to do a story how the AR members have made a difference marketing and selling homes with our Google Juice because of all our content here. Examples could be Blogging listings and how to posts.. like how to Buy a short sale, etc.
Cheers, well done Guys
Colorado Springs is a great place to live. I wouldn't be surprised if HGTV featured one of the segments close to the area.
There should be a link on activerain for the NEWSLETTER. I can't find it when I go to activerain.
Hey Brad, Houston is the 4th largest city in the U.S.. We are eagerly waiting an opportunity to show our fine city.

Dan - the newsletter is a subscribe feature via email, it's not a link. You can subscribe to it over on the right on my sidebar if you'd like to receive it. Thanks. :-)
A QUICK HEADS UP ANNOUNCEMENT!!
If you have entered your comment that you're interested in being on the House Hunter show, do me a favor if you have not heard from anyone yet. Please send an email to HouseHunters@HighNoonEntertainment.com and apply by sending them your information and client story. They will review it in their casting department and contact you if you and your clients meet the criteria they are searching for.
They have had a huge increase in inquiries due to this post and your responses. I just want to be sure and cover all the bases so that you can be selected. Thanks, and now I'm off to a tropical vacation and celebration... :-))
Brad, Shoot! I'm late to the party! While you're talking to them, do you think you could persuade them to have me stage a home in need? I use to live near Philly for a while, does that count? I'd even fly to their location...I'm just saying!! ;-)
P.S. Congratulations, on your son, and have a great time!

I was approached last year, but none of my clients were interested once they realized how its down.
My name Is Lexy Kohake, and I am an associate produccer for HGTV's House Hunters. We've actually just added a few more cities to the mix this year, including Kansas City/Lawrence/Topeka, Baton Rouge, Staten Island and Durham, NC. If you live in these cities and are interested in being on the show, please e-mail me at LKohake@highnoonentertainment.com
Thanks!!
Thanks Lexy - I'll get the word out and see if we have some folks interested in those areas. :-)
How fun! One of the shows that made me want to become a Realtor. This will be so fun to watch! They should come to Temecula, it is a beautiful city and centrally located.
