I am getting spoiled.  Every evening I come home and take an hour long swim in the pool.  It is so relaxing after fighting the real estate ups and downs all day long.  To be able to just relax and listen to the water moving and swim and float away my troubles.  My whole body and mind feels better when I finish and then it's dinner time and the rest of the evening goes so much better.

We put this pool in last summer but did not get finished with it in time to really enjoy it so this summer is the reward for a lot of hard work last year.  I feel so spoiled.  Wish everyone had a place as quiet and nice to relax as this.

I don't even mind the warmer weather coming in July and August now,  knowing I have a great way to cool off.  My family and friends love it too.  Our Memorial Day party was super fun with all the kids and friends.

Pools can add a lot of appeal to a home when selling it but they do not always pay off, so be careful how much you invest in your pool.  Remember, it is an investment in health and recreation as well as a home improvement.

Hi Ricki, I was wondering if I would see your Rainmaker badge when I clicked on your blog and there it is!  YAY!  Your pool sounds like a wonderful way to relax after spending the day dealing with the demands of real estate!

You should come over sometime Shirley, I'd love to share it with you.  Yes, I got the Rainmaker badge back.  I don't know what happened to cause it to be gone.

Hey Dale,  That's great, swim across the river and be in another state.  That's pretty neat.

Ricki, I have loved having access to pools while living in Texas. It makes the summers much more bearable.

Hi Ricki... I love my condo, the pools that come with it and the upkeep responsibility that doesn't!  :)

That's true, they can be a lot of work but the privacy for me is worth it. :)

Relaxing after a long day sounds great, especially as we head into the warmer weather.  For about 2 years now, my wife has been pushing for a pool.  I like pools, but I dont like the upkeep.  Who knows, maybe we will get one at some point.

Hi John,  You would love it and the upkeep is not that bad.  The pool sweep does most of the work. Just checking the chemicals is easy.  The benefits far outway the upkeep.

Listen to your wife, it may actually save you some money from going other places.  You'll want to stay home more. :)

Thank you Richard,  it is very enjoyable and private.  Sometimes I feel like I'm on vacation if only for the evening. :)
