Obama is now insisting on pushing through his socialist agenda (Universal Health Care, Injecting money through the porkulous bill at a faster rate--strings attached for states who accept these monies which would in essence give Government more say in the affairs of the states.)

One of the features of communism is the brainwashing of the populous, making them believe a lie. What Obama is pushing hasn't worked so far. He puts forth numbers for job creation which are not measureable; he claims to be saving jobs--also not measureable--these are all just statistical smoke screens put up by his economic cronies.

Just think about how much you see this mans face in your face. He is ALWAYS making speeches (never without teleprompters) All he does is well scripted. He is pushing his lies.

Obama and crew are ruining this country. Obama is also going to ruin the real estate business. (all the borrowing willl have to be paid back, expect Higher interest rates; higher mortgage interest, will kill housing market)

I hope the following gets your attention.

We're five for ten, and if I missed something, let me know.

According to the Communist Manifesto, all these were prior conditions for a transition from capitalism to communism, but Marx and Engels later expressed a desire to modernize this passage.

10 Conditions For Transition To Communism

  1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
  2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. (Isn't this the desire of the Obama administration?)
  3. Abolition of all right of inheritance. (Inheritance Tax)
  4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
  5. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.( Does this sound familiar?)
  6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
  7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
  8. Equal liability of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies, (Union Power and Special Treatment by Obama Admin) especially for agriculture.
  9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equaldistribution of the population over the country.
  10. Free education for all children in public schools. (the desire to increase entitlements, give-aways so all can have a college degree) Abolition of children's factory labour in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.

According to the Communist Manifesto, all these were prior conditions for a transition from capitalism to communism, but Marx and Engels later expressed a desire to modernize this passage.[8

John - I have been trying to figure out whether we are headed towards socialism, communism, facism or what. I have decided that we don't have a name for the 'ism that is coming. It could be Obamaism. perhaps sheepism. I will be posting a chart of comparisons.

NO!  But if you prefer to believe we are headed that way and it makes you happy, I say go for it.  But it doesn't make it true.

No.

John: I do know you cut and pasted this because some words are spelled "european." You righies can't even come up with original thought. Besides, SC is becoming a theocracy, isn't John?

Hugh, Amen.

Mike, how about "Obo-socio-fascomism

Terry, Losing freedom, trashing the constitution and confiscatory taxes doesn't make me happy.

Scott, Do you have something to contribute to the conversation or will you do as you do typically--I don't see any "original thought" in your comments, only your habit of calling people names. you're right I copied and pasted from Wikipeda--can you read? I know you can't spell--did you mean "righties?"By the way, european is spelled with a capital "E"

--and--  I certainly can't take credit for the "Commie Manifesto".

No, SC is not becoming a theocracy, but we're a far cry from Sodom and Gomorrah

I have a great book for you to read: "How to Win in Friends and Influence People." You should give it  read.

John

Actually that is one of the best books ever written.  And I feel all folks in our industry should read it. I too am very worried where this administration is headed. Perhaps it doesn't know either.

Trey,

At least ten banks have had enough of the Governments dictating and they will pay back 65 Billion of TARP money. Now, if Obama would hold off from pushing through the rest of the "prokulous" money, maybe the free markets could work. Unemployment was down to 300K level--none of this was due to the stimulus--most of the funds that were given out were for non-employment generating purposes--If there was ever an administration that looked like it didn't know what it was doing it is this one.

Under Bush, there were many similar lists published that claimed we were heading towards Fascism. And, in a way, we were. I, like most, was very disheartened by the direction our country was headed. Now, we are in the same predicament, just in the complete other direction. Instead of going from far right to middle ground, the pendulum swung all the way to the other side. From Fascism to Communism in one fell swoop. While I don't believe we are being transformed into a Communist nation, we are being pushed in that direction. People who think that bigger government is the solution to any problem are delusional, at best.

John: Yes, "European" would be with a capital E.....and  unless you are from Europe, I don't believe we spell centralisation" with an "s". We use a "z."

I did misspell a word. That happens when quickly typing original content. Maybe I should just cut and paste and save myself from the spell check police. You missed an apostrophe above. Even steven.

John, you're way  late on all that stuff.  Forgot the Military Commissions act?  Forgot the Patriot Act?  Forgot that passe comitatus was suspended?  All that happened during the last watch.  There are no freedoms left to take away.

Scott, cut and paste away!

Terry, why not read the entire bill. Your claim that this an infringement on your freedom is ludicrous. (and, OMG I cut and pasted!)

liberals focus on the minor and want to ignore the importance of strategies designed to keep us safe and free. Second, all you've done is make a list with no substance, no thought, and no rational argument for  your position. You  have not addressed one of the points made in the original post--

Scott, I think it would be a good idea to learn how to spell like a European. Obama loves their countries; their socialist systems and that's what he wants for you.

By the way, you haven't addressed any of the 10 points. All you do is cast stones, at me-- and unfortunately, you haven't added to the discussion at all.
