Quite humorous! A form? Why use a form if a napkin could suffice? I'd be'd curious of the outcome so please consider posting a follow-up!

Chuck- when I get this one close I will write the part II

Silvia- I offered to lend them a napkin- turns out they really wanted me to kill a tree and do it right.

Everyone wants something for nothing... and they expect as to just help them out for the fun of it!!! NO GO

Cheryl..when I'm asked for a blank form I always tell these Non-client/ non-Customers to call an attorney to make sure they are protected. This way they see some guidance and don't rely on a total do it yourself.

The happy ending usually cost extra.

Hey Cheryl, isn't it just amazing what some people thing? I actually did have someone bring me a contract written on notebook paper once...they wanted me to "review" it. Of course, I told them as politely as possible that they were out of their minds and to go see an attorney for a legal review if they wanted one. I heard later there was some sort of law suit over that property...gee, wonder why?

Caron- I am all about doing it just for giggles, but when you want your interests to be represented, pony up

Steve- I never practice law, I will however work for either the buyer or seller to get a contract executed.

Kellie- Law suits over property usually occur when someone is trying to take a short cut- like no disclosures or notebook paper contracts.

These are the people who would ask to borrow a scalpel from a surgeon because they needed an appendectomy.

Hi Cheryl - I came looking for Part II.

Well, the advice to go see an attorney is good advice. They are too cheap to even buy a form off the web? They need a free one? Of course, the web forms do not address individual state laws, not to mention, you need to know how to fill them in.

So maybe after you hand over the "freebie" (for which you pay dues), you can give them advice on how to fill it out, disclosures, etc? Kind of hold their hand, maybe hold their escrow deposit? All for free?

Anyway, looking forward to part II.

Seriously???? They're doing a FSBO and want realtor help in providing the contract? Why didn't they just hire a realtor in the first place? Sheesh...
